On motion of Mr. Collier it was ordered that three type-
written copies, besides an original copy, of each and every
bill be submitted upon the introduction of all bills—one for
the files, one for the Desk Clerks and one for the State Printer,
as copy for printing—and three extra copies of the title of
each and every bill for use of the Desk Clerks.

On motion of Mr. Shepherd it was ordered that the hour
of 12 o'clock noon be and the same shall be, until otherwise
ordered, the hour of meeting of the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Ogden it was ordered that Room 4 be
and it is hereby assigned to the use of the Journal Clerk
and Reading Clerk.

On motion of Mr. Holmead it was ordered that the Li-
brarian is hereby directed to supply for the use of the Sen-
ate six copies of the Code of Public General Laws (Bagby's),
four copies of the Public Local Laws and four copies each
of the Acts of 1890, 1892, 1894, 1896, 1898, 1900 and the extra
session of 1901, and the sessions of 1902, 1904, 1906, 1908,
1910, 1912 and 1914; a set of the Maryland Reports of the
decisions of the Court of Appeals; four Journals of the
Senate, session 1914; four Journals of the House of Dele-
gates, session 1914; also one volume of the printed bills intro-
duced in the Senate in the session of 1914, and one volume
of the printed bills introduced in the House of Delegates,
session of 1914.

Mr. Legg offered the following:

Ordered, That the rules adopted by the Senate at the ses-
sion of 1914 be hereby adopted as the rules governing the
present Senate, including the following:

RULE XVI.

1. On Finance, to consist of nine Senators.

2. On Judicial Proceedings, to consist of nine Senators.

3. On Corporations, to consist of nine Senators.

4. On Elections, to consist of seven Senators.

5. On Inspections, to consist of five Senators.

6. On Education, to consist of five Senators.

7. On Agriculture and Labor, to consist of five Senators.

8. On Executive Nominations, to consist of five Senators.

9. On Militia, to consist of five Senators.

10. On Printed Bills, to consist of seven Senators.

11. On Public Institutions, to consist of five Senators.

12. On Federal Relations, to consist of five Senators.

13. On Pensions, to consist of five Senators.

14. On Railroads and Canals, to consist of five Senators.
