[them] then become a record of said [court] Criminal Court, and
may be forfeited, and the forfeiture may be enforced in the same
manner as if recognizance has been taken by the [court] Criminal
Court

§ 196. Whenever any person charged with a criminal offense be-
fore [a police justice] the Municipal Court of Baltimore City is ad-
mitted to bail for further hearing, if such person does not appear at
such hearing according to the tenor of his recognizance, it may be
forfeited. If forfeited, the [justice] Municipal Court Clerk shall
note the forfeiture on the recognizance, and deliver it to the clerk
of the Criminal Court of Baltimore [, the] . The said forfeited
recognizance shall then become a record of said criminal court, and
shall have the same effect and may be enforced in the same manner
as if it had been taken and forfeited by the [court] Criminal Court
of Baltimore.

Sec. 27. And be it further enacted, That the Charter and Public
Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Ed.), subdivision, "Justices of
the Peace and Constables," Section 408, Section 409, as amended
by Chapter 682 of the Acts of 1953, Section 410, as last amended by
Chapters 555 and 574 of the Acts of 1957, Section 411, as amended
by Chapter 540 of the Acts of 1953, Section 412, Section 413, Sec-
tion 414, Section 415, Section 416, Section 417, Section 418, Section
419, Section 420, Section 421, Section 422, as last amended by Chap-
ter 604 of the Acts of 1957, Section 423, Section 424, as amended
by Chapter 609 of the Acts of 1957, Section 425, Section 426, Sec-
tion 427, Section 428, as amended by Chapter 458 of the Acts of 1951,
Section 429, Section 430, as amended by Chapter 111 of the Acts of
1955, Section 431, as amended by Chapter 111 of the Acts of 1955
and Section 432 be and same are hereby repealed.

Sec. 28. And be it further enacted, That Section 499 of the Charter
and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition), subdi-
vision, "Moving Picture Machine Operators," be, and the same is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

§ 499. All persons who, at the time of the enactment of this sub-
title, are engaged in the business of a moving picture machine opera-
tor in the City of Baltimore, as described in Section 497, shall within
sixty days after the first day of May 1910, comply with all the pro-
visions of this sub-title, otherwise they shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, and upon conviction, [before a police justice or in the
Criminal Court of Baltimore City,] be fined a sum not less than
Five Dollars, nor more than Twenty Dollars, for each day or frac-
tion thereof that they shall pursue the business of moving picture
machine operator in the City of Baltimore; and if said fine is not
paid, shall be subject to imprisonment for thirty days or both at
the discretion of the judge.

Sec. 29. And be it further enacted, That Sections 752, 759, 761,
762, 763, and 764 of the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore
City (1949 Edition), subdivision "Vagrants, Paupers, Beggars, Vag-
abonds and Disorderly Persons," be, and the same are hereby re-
pealed.
