ARTICLE 66½
to amend Section 2(a), subtitle "In General", of Article 66½, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Ed., as amended), by add-
ing a new sub-subsection (62a) thereto relating generally to the
definition of "Traffic Court of Baltimore City" and "Clerk" of said
Traffic Court, and other simliar SIMILAR expressions, for the pur-
poses of said Article; to repeal Sections 343 through 373, both in-
clusive, subtitles, "Traffic Court of Baltimore City" and "Juvenile
Traffic Court of Baltimore City", of said Article, relating generally
to the Traffic Court of Baltimore City and to the Juvenile Traffic
Court of Baltimore City, including but not limited to, their juris-
diction, powers, practice, procedure, magistrates, employees and
records;

to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 193, 194, 195 and
196 of the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949
Ed.), subdivision, "Bail", by deleting reference to the police justices
in Baltimore City and by including therein said Municipal Court; to
repeal the following Sections of said Charter and Public Local Laws,
subdivision, "Justices of the Peace and Constables",—Section 408,
Section 409, as amended by Chapter 682 of the Acts of 1953, Section
410, as last amended by Chapters 555 and 574 of the Acts of 1957,
Section 411, as amended by Chapter 540 of the Acts of 1953, Sec-
tion 412, Section 413, Section 414, Section 415, Section 416, Sec-
tion 417, Section 418, Section 419, Section 420, Section 421, Sec-
tion 422, as last amended by Chapter 604 of the Acts of 1957, Sec-
tion 423, Section 424, as amended by Chapter 609 of the Acts
of 1957, Section 425, Section 426, Section 427, Section 428, as
amended by Chapter 458 of the Acts of 1951, Section 429, Section
430, as amended by Chapter 111 of the Acts of 1955, Section 431,
as amended by Chapter 111 of the Acts of 1955 and Section 432,
relating generally to Justices of the Peace assigned to the station
houses in Baltimore City and magistrates-at-large, including but
not limited to, their jurisdiction, powers, appointment, duties,
compensation and leaves, and relating generally to the powers and
duties of the officers of police and clerks in connection with said
police courts; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 499
of said Charter and Public Local Law, subdivision, "Moving
Picture Machine Operators", by deleting provision for concurrent
jurisdiction in police justices and the Criminal Court of Baltimore;
to repeal Sections 752, 759, 761, 762, 763 and 764 of said Charter
and Public Local Laws, subtitle, "Vagrants, Paupers, Beggars,
Vagabonds, and Disorderly Persons", relating generally to the
jurisdiction and powers of the police justices in Baltimore City,
the Criminal Court of Baltimore and the Orphans Court of Balti-
more City concerning vagrants, paupers, vagabonds and disorderly
persons, including, but not limited to, apprenticing minors and
fees in such cases; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 751, 753, 754, 758 of said subdivision and Section 767, sub-
division "Vagrant, Dependent and Vicious Children", all of said
Charter and Public Local Laws, by deleting reference to police
justices in Baltimore City and including in Sections 751 and 767
references to said Municipal Court;
