amendments, and that new Section 5 (i) be and it is hereby added
to the said Article of the Code, sub-title "Supervisors of Elections
and Employees", to follow immediately after Section 5 (h) thereof,
and all to read as follows:

3 (f). Calvert County: [$200.] $500.

5 (i). In Calvert County the clerk to the Board of Supervisors of
Elections provided for in this section shall receive an annual salary
of $500.

265. Whenever the provisions of this subtitle are enforced at any
election the Supervisors of Elections of Baltimore City shall be en-
titled to receive, in addition to the compensation now paid to them,
the further sum of $200 each for every such election, and the super-
visors of elections of the several counties except Calvert County, and
their respective clerks, in addition to the compensation now allowed
them, shall each be entitled to receive such additional sum for services
actually rendered in the performance of their duties under this sub-
title as shall be allowed by the county commissioners of the several
counties, but in no event less than $10 per diem for such services. The
supervisors of elections of Baltimore City and of the several counties
shall be allowed such further sum for expenses and clerical hire
in the performance of the duties imposed upon them by this sub-title
as may be reasonable and necessary. All said expenses shall be paid
by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore and the County Com-
missioners of the several counties respectively, in precisely the same
way as compensation and similar election expenses are now pro-
vided to be paid by law.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 523
(House Bill 477)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 255 (f)
of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1960 Supplement), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans'
Court", and to add new Section 255 (u) to the said Article and sub-
title of the Code, to provide an annual salary for the judges of the
Orphans' Court of Calvert County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 255 (f) of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1960 Supplement), title "Testamentary Law", sub-
title "Orphans' Court", be and is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, and that new Section 255 (u) be and is hereby
added to the said Article and sub-title of the Code, and to read as
follows:
