LOCAL PROPERTY TAX IN CALVERT, CAROLINE, CARROLL,
CECIL, CHARLES, DORCHESTER, FREDERICK, GARRETT,
HARFORD, KENT, MONTGOMERY AND ST. MARY'S PRINCE
GEORGE'S, ST. MARY'S AND WORCHESTER COUNTIES not-
withstanding any fees paid to the Department of Motor Vehicles for
the privilege of the use of the highway by such house trailers.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 484

(House Bill 145)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 57(b), 57(c), 57(d) and 57(e) of Chapter
780 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1959, this Act having
enacted a sub-title "Park and Planning Commission" to be added
to the Montgomery County Code—1955, being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, and to be added to the
Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953
Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, said sections being in the sub-heading "Regional Dis-
trict", and to enact a new Section 57 (b) in lieu thereof to stand
in the place of the sections so repealed, redefining the boundaries
of the Maryland-Washington Regional District so as to include
therein the entire area ADDITIONAL AREAS of Prince George's
County and prohibiting municipal corporations within said area
from exercising certain powers relating to planning subdivision
control and/or zoning.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 57(b), 57(c), 57(d) and 57(e) of Chapter 780 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1959, are hereby repealed, this Act
having enacted a sub-title "Park and Planning Commission" to be
added to the Montgomery County Code—1955, being Article 16 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, and to be added to the
Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953 Edition),
being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, said
sections being in the sub-heading "Regional District", and to enact
a new Section 57 (b) in lieu thereof to stand in the place of the sec-
tions so repealed, to read as follows:

57.

(b) Prince George's County—The entire area of Prince George's
County is within the Regional District, subject to the provisions of
Section 59 as amended. WITH THE EXCEPTION, HOWEVER, OF
THE TOWN OF LAUREL, AS ITS CORPORATE BOUNDARIES
