Employment Benefits

138A. No employer OR UNION OFFICIAL who has agreed with
any employee to make payments to a health or welfare fund, pension
fund or vacation plan, or other such plan for the benefit of the em-
ployees, or has entered into a collective bargaining agreement pro-
viding for such payments, shall wilfully or
with intent to defraud fail
to make the payments required by the terms of such agreement. Any
employer
OR UNION OFFICIAL who violates this section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of not less than $200 nor
more than $1,000.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 459
(House Bill 429)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 518 of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Sabbath Breaking",
amending the law concerning the operation of bowling alleys,
tenpin alleys or duckpin alleys in Baltimore County, with particu-
lar reference to the hour of closing on Sundays.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 518 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1960 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Sab-
bath Breaking", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

518. Nothing contained in Sections 492 or 522 of this Article,
shall be construed as prohibiting, penalizing or making unlawful the
operation of any bowling alley, tenpin alley or duckpin alley in Balti-
more County between the hours of midnight Saturday and [2] 3
A. M. Sunday and after 1 P. M. on Sunday with or without a charge
or fee.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 1, 2, 4
and 5 of Chapter 733 of the Acts of 1953 and to add a new sec-
