enacted by Chapter 399 of the Acts of 1959, during or for the license
year beginning June 1, 1961, shall expire on April 30, 1962, and that
for such period there shall be no diminution in the license fees that
have been established for a full twelve-month period; and that from
and after May 1, 1962, licenses issued under said Section 104A shall
be issued and accounted for under a license year beginning as of May
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 60
(Senate Bill 127)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 125 to 133, inclusive, of Article 24 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Worcester County", sub-title "Navigation", and to enact new
Sections 125, 126 and 127 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of
the sections so repealed, revising the laws of Worcester County
with respect to obstructions to navigation or passage in any of
the navigable waters therein and with respect to any block or
impediment to the free flow of water in a drainage ditch.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 125 to 133, inclusive, of Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester
County", sub-title "Navigation", be and they are hereby repealed,
and that new Sections 125, 126 and 127 be and they are hereby
enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the sections so
repealed, and to read as follows:
125. Any weir, tree or other obstruction to navigation or passage
in any of the navigable waters of Worcester County is a nuisance
and may be taken out and destroyed as such by any person.
126. It is unlawful in or on any of the navigable waters of
Worcester County, (1) to place or make any weir, (2) to fell a tree
or cut timber, (3) to unload or throw out ballast from any boat or
vessel, (4) to throw stones, shells, gravel or other things, (5) to
hedge across, (6) wantonly to allow a boat or vessel to sink, or (7)
to do any other act or thing, which will be or make an obstruction to
navigation or to the loading, discharge or passage of a boat or vessel
thereon. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this section is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof
is subject to a fine not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) for each
offense.
