Shall Be Taxed and Where", be and is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:
9 (31).
Property, real and personal, owned by the Historical Society of
Frederick County, Inc., the Montgomery County Historical Society,
Inc., the Historical Society of Talbot County, Maryland, Inc., the
Dorchester County Historical Society, Inc., the Historical Society of
Kent County, Maryland, Inc., the Queen Anne's County Historical
Society , THE WICOMICO HISTORICAL SOCIETY, INC., and
Historic Annapolis, Inc., and any other nonprofit society or agency
in Anne Arundel County which is devoted to the study of history
or the maintenance and preservation of historic homes and places;
and any property in Cecil County owned by the Society for the
Preservation of Maryland Antiquities, Inc., Chester County Council
Boy Scouts of America, and Friends of the Library of Cecil County,
Maryland, Inc.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the payment of any taxes
delinquent as of June 1, 1961, and owed by the Queen Anne's County
Historical Society to the State of Maryland or any of its political sub-
divisions is waived and the said taxes are abated.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 418
(Senate Bill 463)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 19A of
Article 95A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supple-
ment) , title "Unemployment Insurance Law", sub-title "Reciprocal
Arrangements", authorizing and directing the Executive Director
of the Department of Employment Security to enter into an agree-
ment on behalf of the State of Maryland with the United States
Secretary of Labor acting on behalf of the United States, where-
under the Department of Employment Security of the State of
Maryland will act as agent of the United States to carry out and
fully participate in the provisions of the "Temporary Extended
Unemployment Compensation Act of 1961" (87th Congress, First
Session) under such conditions, rules and regulations as are spe-
cifically contemplated by said "Temporary Extended Unemploy-
ment Compensation Act of 1961", relating to extension of unem-
ployment insurance benefits beyond the period of duration provided
in the Maryland Unemployment Insurance Law.
