60A. THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF EACH COUNTY
AND THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE
SHALL ANNUALLY LEVY ONE CENT (1¢) ON EACH ONE
HUNDRED DOLLARS OF ASSESSABLE PROPERTY. TO PRO-
VIDE FOR PAYMENTS FOR CARE, OUTSIDE THE HOME, ON
BEHALF OF NEGLECTED, DEPENDENT OR DELINQUENT
CHILDREN, OR SHALL PROVIDE FOR THE SAME OUT OF THE
GENERAL REVENUE; PROVIDED THAT THE COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF EACH COUNTY AND THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO
APPROPRIATE FROM TAXES SO LEVIED, OR FROM GEN-
ERAL REVENUE, MORE THAN IS NECESSARY TO PAY ONE-
HALF OF THE TOTAL COST OF THE PROGRAM FOR THEIR
RESPECTIVE SUBDIVISIONS. THE COUNTY COMMISSION-
ERS OF EACH COUNTY AND THE MAYOR AND CITY COUN-
CIL OF BALTIMORE MAY LEVY FOR OR APPROPRIATE, WITH
THE APPROVAL OF THE STATE DEPARTMENT, ADDITION-
AL FUNDS, TO BE TURNED OVER TO THE STATE COMP-
TROLLER AND EXPENDED TO EFFECTUATE THE PUR-
POSES OF THIS SUB-TITLE. THE PROVISION OF THIS SEC-
TION ARE SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
18A OF ARTICLE 88A OF THIS CODE.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 134A of
Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Circuit Court", as
said section was enacted by Chapter 361 of the Acts of 1937; and
to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 185 of said Article,
sub-title "County Commissioners and Treasurer", modifying the
local laws of Dorchester County with respect to Saturday hours
for the several courts and county offices of Dorchester County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 134A of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-title
"Circuit Court", as said section was enacted by Chapter 361 of the
Acts of 1937, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments; and that Section 185 of said Article, sub-title "County
Commissioners and Treasurer", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, all to read as follows:
