(Senate Bill 545)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 51 (h)
and (1) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition), title "County Commissioners'', sub-title "County Treas-
urers", to increase the salary of the County Treasurer of Wor-
cester County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That Sections 51 (h) and (1) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of

Maryland (1957 Edition), title "County Commissioners", sub-title

"County Treasurers", be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted,

' with amendments, to read as follows:

51.

(h) The county treasurers of Caroline [,] and Queen Anne's [and
Worcester] counties shall each receive an annual salary of $3,000.00.

(1) The county treasurer of Dorchester [County shall] and Wor-
cester Counties shall each receive an annual salary of $4,000.00.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of this Act
shall not be construed to extend or apply to the Treasurer in office on
the effective date hereof, but shall take effect with the next term of
office.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(Senate Bill 552)

AN ACT to add new Section 59 (e) to Article 17 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement), title "Clerks of Courts",
sub-title "Clerks of Circuit Courts and Superior Court of Balti-
more City", to follow immediately after Section 59 (d) thereof,
relating to the requirements for the recording of plats of sub-
divided lands in incorporated municipalities in Worcester County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 59 (e) be and it is hereby added to Article 17 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement), title "Clerks
of Courts", sub-title "Clerks of Circuit Courts and Superior Court
of Baltimore City", to follow immediately after Section 59 (d) there-
of, and to read as follows:
