I, Thomas B. Fin an, Secretary of State of the State of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 172 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
DO hereby certify, that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 8, 1960, an Act known as Chapter 331 of the
Acts of 1959, was submitted to the voters of Perryville, Cecil County,
Maryland under the provisions of Chapter 331 of the Acts of 1959,
said Act being as follows:

"An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 291
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil County, (1953
Edition) being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title 'Cecil County', sub-title Perryville', modifying
the tax limit of the town of Perryville pursuant to the pro-
visions of Section 5 of Article HE of the Constitution of Mary-
land."

AND I DO certify, that at said election 1,741 votes were cast in
favor of adoption of Chapter 331 of the Acts of 1959 and 1,188 votes
were cast against adoption of said Chapter 331 of the Acts of 1959,
the said Act has therefore been ratified by a majority of the qualified
voters of Perryville, Cecil County, Maryland.

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my
name and affixed my Official Seal at the City of
Annapolis, this 7th day of December, 1960.
