CHAPTER 10
(Senate Bill 21)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 1-7 inclusive of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester
County", sub-title "Almshouse", repealing certain obsolete laws of
Dorchester County, concerning the former almshouse and its oper-
ation and administration.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 1-7 inclusive of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-
title "Almshouse", be and they are hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 11
(Senate Bill 22)
AN ACT to legalize the 1961 Edition of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Dorchester County, being Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of the
Board of County Commissioners of Dorchester County and edited
by Carl N. Everstine, and making provision for the publication,
sale and distribution of this Code.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1961 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Dorches-
ter County, being Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, published under the direction of the Board of County
Commissioners of Dorchester County and edited by Carl N. Ever-
stine, is hereby legalized. The Code shall contain all public local laws
relating to Dorchester County following the 1961 Regular Session of
the General Assembly of Maryland, and it shall contain the Charters
of the several municipal corporations within Dorchester County as in
effect on April 1, 1961. The Code shall be deemed and taken in all
the Courts of the State and by all Justices of the Peace and Trial
Magistrates of the State and by all other public officials of the State
and of its several political subdivisions, to be evidence of the public
local laws of Dorchester County in existence at the time of com-
pilation.
Sec. 2, And be it further enacted. That the Board of County
Commissioners of Dorchester County is authorized and directed to
make an appropriation to provide for the publication of this Code,
