hereby authorized and directed to pay to the Judges JUDGE of the
Circuit Court for the Fifth Judicial Circuit who resides in Howard
County and who are IS not Judges A JUDGE of the Court of Appeals,
the sum of three thousand dollars annually in addition to the salary
received by said Judges JUDGE from the State of Maryland, said
payments PAYMENT to be made from and after June 1, 1961, in
equal monthly installments, and the said County Commissioners are
hereby authorized and directed to levy upon the assessable property
of the said County a tax sufficient to pay the aforesaid amounts.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 120B of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil County (1953 Edition, being
Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Cecil County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as said Section
was enacted by Chapter 368 of the Acts of 1959, limiting who shall
use or operate pin ball machines (console or other) in Cecil County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 120B of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil County
(1953 Edition, being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Cecil County", sub-title "County Commissioners",
as said Section was enacted by Chapter 368 of the Acts of 1959, be
and is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
120B
(a) Every person, firm, association or corporation keeping, main-
taining or operating for public entertainment or amusement within
Cecil County any pin-ball machine (console or other), shuffleboard,
mechanical bowling game, Juke Box or Other Mechanical Musical
Device, or any similar device whose operation requires the insertion
of a coin or token, shall obtain a license from the County Commis-
sioners for each device, and shall pay Twenty-Five Dollars annually
for each license [.]; provided, however, that it shall be unlawful
for any person, firm, association, or corporation keeping, maintain-
ing or operating any pin-ball machine (console or other) to permit
the use or operation thereof by any person under the age of eighteen
years.
Every person, firm, association or corporation distributing ciga-
rettes and beverages by means of a vending machine shall obtain a
license from the County Commissioners for each machine, and shall
pay Ten dollars annually for each license.
(b) Every machine or device required to be licensed under this
section shall bear a tag or sticker issued by the said County Com-
missioners.
