THENCE TURNING AND CONTINUING WITH SAID ROCK-
VILLE AND MARYLAND-WASHINGTON-METROPOLITAN DIS-
TRICT EXPANSION LINE AND STILL WITH A. GUDE SONS
SOUTHERLY PROPERTY LINE IN A NORTHERLY DIREC-
TION 757.30 FEET TO A POINT.

THENCE TURNING AND CONTINUING WITH SAID ROCK-
VILLE AND MARYLAND-WASHINGTON-METROPOLITAN DIS-
TRICT EXPANSION LINE AND STILL WITH A. GUDE SONS
SOUTHERLY PROPERTY LINE, IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION
CROSSING THE BALTIMORE AND OHIO RAILROAD RIGHT-
OF-WAY, 2450 FEET TO A POINT OF INTERSECTION OF THE
MARYLAND-WASHINGTON-METROPOLITAN DISTRICT EX-
PANSION LINE, SAID POINT BEING THE POINT OF BEGIN-
NING, LYING ON THE ROCKVILLE PIKE (MARYLAND
ROUTE 355).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That no municipal corporation
within the areas added by this Act to the Maryland-Washington
Metropolitan District shall be authorized, by means of an amend-
ment to its charter or otherwise, to exercise any of the powers re-
lating to planning, subdivision control and/or zoning now or here-
after granted to The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission or the County Council of Montgomery County. If this
section shall for any reason be held by any court of competent juris-
diction to be invalid, it is hereby declared to be the intention of the
General Assembly that this Act would have been enacted without
the invalid portions.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby declared
to be an emergency law and necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health and safety, and being passed upon yea and
nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 793

(House Bill 852)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 196 (c)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Birds, Game and Inland Water
Fish", sub-heading "Deer", relating to dogs engaged in fox hunt-
ing who break away therefrom and pursue deer in Frederick
County AND CARROLL COUNTIES.
