of the district road levy for the district in which the improvements
are made or out of other moneys belonging to the county; provided,
the county commissioners shall at the same time determine what
properties are to be damaged and what properties are to be bene-
fited thereby and the amount of such individual damage and benefit,
and allow and assess the same; provided, the amounts of the assess-
ments shall be sufficient to defray the total cost of the improvements
made in each case and the assessments made against each property
shall be levied and collected during the next ensuing five fiscal years
in five equal partial levies in the same manner as county taxes now
are, or may hereafter be by law levied and collected, and shall have
the same priority rights, bear the same interest and penalties, and
in every respect be treated the same as county taxes; provided, the
amount of individual damage and individual benefit shall not be
finally fixed until notice shall be given to the person to be affected who
shall have the opportunity to be heard, such person to have the right
to appeal from the final decision of the county commissioners to
the circuit court for the county.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 778
(House Bill 777)

AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 467 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953 Edition) being
Article 17 of the Code of Public LOCAL Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", said new sub-section to be known as Section 467 (f)
and to follow immediately after Section 467 (e) relating to the
authority of the County Commissioners of Prince George's County
to reduce disability benefits to the members of certain Volunteer
Fire Companies and Rescue Squads.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 467 (f) be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953 Edition) being
Article 17 of the Code of Public LOCAL Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "County Commis-
sioner", to follow immediately after Section 467 (e) thereof, and to
read as follows:

Section 467 (f) Provided, however, that the Board of County Com-
missioners of Prince George's County may reduce any sums payable
hereunder in an amount equal to the amount received by a beneficiary
