Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 699 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title "Re-
ceiving or Purchasing Poultry", and said sub-title, be and they are
hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1,1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 129 of
Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title "County Commis-
sioners", as said section was last amended by Chapter 474 of the
Acts of 1937, amending the local laws of Frederick County con-
cerning the levy and collection of taxes in order to remove there-
from a reference to the date of finality.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 129 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title "County
Commissioners", as said section was last amended by Chapter 474
of the Acts of 1937, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

129. The Board of County Commissioners of Frederick County
shall annually on or before the 1st day of January, in each and every
year, beginning with the first day of January, A. D. 1934, levy upon
the taxable property of Frederick County, the State and county taxes,
to be due and collectible in the manner and at the time or times as
is now provided by law, the State taxes for the purpose of paying
the taxes due the State of Maryland, and the county taxes for the
purpose of paying and defraying the expenses, charges, obligations
and expenditures to be created as hereinafter set forth, incident to
and necessary for the conduct of the affairs of the county, and the
operation and maintenance of its government. [And the first day of
November shall hereafter be the date of finality, the date upon which
assessments become final for such calendar year, subject only to
correction as allowed according to law.]

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
