"Minors—Obtaining Liquor", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

400A. In Allegany [County] and Washington Counties, it shall be
unlawful for any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to
have in his possession, or under his charge or control, any alcoholic
beverage as defined in Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
unless such person shall then and there be a bona fide employee of
a license holder, as defined in the said Article 2B, and shall then
and there have in his possession, or under his charge or control, such
alcoholic beverage during regular working hours and in the course
of his or her employment.

Any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years violating the
provisions of this subtitle shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and, upon a conviction thereof in any court of competent jurisdiction,
shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than
$100.00 or imprisoned in jail for a period not exceeding ten days
or both fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the court. Any such
person who is under the age of 18 years shall be within the juris-
diction of the juvenile [court of Allegany County] courts of the said
counties.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 718
(House Bill 624)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 288-B of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953
Edition) being Article 17 of the Code of Public LOCAL Laws of
Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Circuit
Court", sub-heading "Court Stenographers", to provide for the
employment of additional full time court reporters in Prince
George's County and to increase their compensation in the dis-
cretion of the Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's
County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 288-B of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1953 Edition) being Article 17 of the Code of Public
LOCAL Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-title
Circuit Court", sub-heading "Court Stenographers", be and the
same is hereby repealed, re-enacted and amended to read as follows:

288-B. The Judges of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Mary-
land are hereby authorized and empowered to employ [a] com-
petent fulltime Court [Reporter] Reporters for the Circuit Court
of Prince George's County, [such] each reporter to be an expert
stenographer or otherwise competent to record court proceedings,
who shall hold office during the pleasure of the said Judges. [He]
