of Baltimore City and collected and received by or through the said
sheriff, shall be paid by the city treasurer to the Library Company
of the Baltimore Bar for its use and benefit, said sum to the Library
Company of the Baltimore Bar not to exceed, however, in any year
the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). This section not to
apply to Queen Anne's, Anne Arundel, Somerset and Talbot counties.
No commission or charge shall be paid to any clerk of the court for
collecting and paying over said fines. In Baltimore County, this
section shall not apply to fines imposed in gambling cases.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 104 (g) of Article
52 of the said Code (1957 Edition), title "Justices of the Peace",
sub-title "Trial Magistrates System", be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That new Section 48B be and
it is hereby added to Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County", sub-title "County
Commissioners", to follow immediately after Section 48A thereof,
as Section 48A was last amended by Chapter 527 of 1959, and to
read as follows:

48B. The County Commissioners of Somerset County are author-
ized and directed to appropriate annually for the support of the
Bar Library of Somerset County a sum payable monthly to the Clerk
of the Circuit Court for Somerset County for the use and benefit
of the Bar Library, in equal installments of not less than One Hun-
dred Twenty-Five Dollars ($125.).

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 682
(House Bill 369)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 154 (a)
of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supple-
ment), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Unsatisfied Claim and
Judgment Fund", to enlarge the time within which notice must be
given of intention to file a claim with the Unsatisfied Claim and
Judgment Fund Board. , AND SPECIFYING THE EFFECT OF
SUCH ENLARGEMENT.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 154 (a) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1960 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Unsatis-
fied Claim and Judgment Fund", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
