of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans' Court", providing
an expense allowance for the Judges of the Orphans' Court for
Allegany County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 255 (j) of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans'
Court", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
255.
(j) Each of the judges of the Orphans' Court for Allegany County
shall receive as an annual compensation the sum of eighteen hundred
dollars ($1,800.00). Each of the said judges also shall receive an
expense allowance in the amount of two hundred and forty dollars
($240.00) THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00) annually to be
paid beginning with the month of June, 1961, at the rate of twenty
dollars ($20.00) TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00) monthly.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1,1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 479 of
the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949
Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land) , title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Miscellaneous Local Laws",
sub-heading "Installation of Electrical Apparatus and Wiring",
providing that members of the Board of Electrical Examiners and
Supervisors be appointed by the Governor, with the advice and
consent of the Senate, and to correct an error therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 479 of the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore
City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Miscellaneous Local
Laws", sub-heading "Installation of Electrical Apparatus and Wir-
ing", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
479. The Governor shall appoint a board subject to the advice
and consent of the Senate which shall be known as the Board of
Examiners and Supervisors, consisting of five (5) persons, for the
purpose of examining into the qualifications and capabilities of all
