AN ACT to repeal Section 148 (f) of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages",
sub-title "Boards of License Commissioners", and to enact new
Section 148 (f) in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section
so repealed, to change the terms of members of the Board of
License Commissioners of Washington County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 148 (f) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Boards
of License Commissioners", be and it is hereby repealed; and that
new Section 148 (f) be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to
stand in the place of the section so repealed, and to read as follows:
148 (f).
In Washington County, upon the expiration of the terms of the
commissioners in office on June 1, 1961, the Governor shall appoint,
in the manner hereinabove provided, one commissioner for a term
of one year, one for a term of two years, and one for a term of three
years. Thereafter all terms shall be for three years, and not more
than two of said appointees shall belong to the same political party.
OF TWO YEARS, ONE FOR A TERM OF FOUR YEARS AND
ONE FOR A TERM OF SIX YEARS. THEREAFTER ALL TERMS
SHALL BE FOR SIX YEARS AND NOT MORE THAN TWO OF
SAID APPOINTEES SHALL BELONG TO THE SAME POLITI-
CAL PARTY.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1,1961.

(Senate Bill 5)
AN ACT to add new Sections 266A and 266B to Article 43 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Health", sub-
title "Commissioner of Pharmacy", to follow immediately after
Section 266 thereof, and to add a new Section 270A to said Ar-
ticle and sub-title to follow immediately after Section 270 thereof,
amending the laws concerning pharmacists and the practice of
pharmacy in this State with particular respect to the sale of cer-
tain drugs by pharmacies and to the suspension, revocation and
renewal of licenses for pharmacists and for assistant pharmacists.
