they respectively mature and become payable, in lieu of levying a
tax for the particular sum.
Sec. 7. And be it further enacted, That the proceeds from the
sale of said bonds shall be paid to the County Treasurer and shall be
set apart by him in an account or accounts, to the credit of "Assa-
teague Island Bridge Bonds of Worcester County of............................." and
shall be disbursed by him only for the purposes herein authorized,
provided that any accrued interest received from the sale of said
bonds may be applied to the payment of the first maturing interest
of said bonds.
Sec. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 255 (e) of
Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement),
title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans' Court", raising the
daily mileage allowance for the judges of the Orphans' Court for
Somerset County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 255 (e) of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1960 Supplement), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Or-
phans' Court", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
255.
(e) Each of the judges of the orphans' court for Carroll, Charles,
Queen Anne's, Somerset, and Worcester counties shall receive the
sum of eight dollars ($8.00) for every day's attendance upon the ses-
sions of said court. The judges of the Orphans' Court for Queen
Anne's and Worcester counties shall receive an allowance for travel-
ing expenses of four hundred and fifty dollars ($450.00) per year.
The judges of the Orphans' Court for Howard County shall receive
an allowance for traveling expenses of four hundred and eighty dol-
lars ($480.00) per year. The judges of the Orphans' Court for Som-
erset County shall receive an allowance of [four dollars and fifty
cents ($4.50)] six dollars ($6.00) for mileage for every day's attend-
ance upon the sessions of said court.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
