of Tidewater Fisheries and a certificate shall be issued by said De-
partment which certifies that the oysters are free of drills or their
eggs; and it shall be the duty of the Department of Tidewater Fish-
eries to inspect all of the oysters imported FROM SAID AREAS
for the purpose of planting and said Department is authorized to
seize, condemn and destroy any such oysters found infected with
oyster drills or its eggs.
Any person who shall plant or attempt to plant oysters during the
period from May first to September thirtieth of any year without
first having obtained an inspection certificate from the Department
of Tidewater Fisheries shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be
subject to the penalties imposed under Section 717(k) of this Article.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to add new Section 9 (50) to Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes",
sub-title "What Shall Be Taxed and Where", to follow immediately
after Section 9 (49) thereof, relating to an exemption from assess-
ment and taxation of the real property of Nature Conservancy,
Inc., in Calvert County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 9 (50) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement), title "Revenue and
Taxes", sub-title "What Shall Be Taxed and Where", to follow imme-
diately after Section 9 (49) thereof, and to read as follows:

(50) Real property owned by Nature Conservancy, Inc., in Calvert
County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
