Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-title
"Taxes", as said section was last amended by Chapter 362 of the
Acts of 1933, be and it is hereby repealed; and that a new Section 192
thereof be and it is hereby enacted, to stand in the place of the sec-
tion so repealed, to read as follows:

192. Assessors shall be appointed and assessments shall be made
in Dorchester County in conformity with the laws found in Article
81 of the Annotated Code.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

Approved May 3, 1961.

CHAPTER 627

(Senate Bill 177)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9 (31) of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement),
title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "What Shall Be Taxed and
Where", exempting from assessment for State, County and City
taxation a certain property in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County,
commonly known as Ogle Hall.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 9 (31) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1960 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "What
Shall Be Taxed and Where", be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:

9.

(31) Certain historical and other societies; Chester County Coun-
cil Boy Scouts; Friends of the Library of Cecil County.—Property,
real and personal, owned by the Historical Society of Frederick
County, Inc., the Montgomery County Historical Society, Inc., the
Historical Society of Talbot County, Maryland, Inc., the Dorchester
County Historical Society, Inc., the Historical Society of Kent Coun-
ty, Maryland, Inc., and Historic Annapolis, Inc., and any other non-
profit society or agency in Anne Arundel County which is devoted
to the study of history or the maintenance and preservation of his-
toric homes and places; and any property in Cecil County owned by
the Society for the Preservation of Maryland Antiquities, Inc., Ches-
ter County Council Boy Scouts of America, and Friends of the Li-
brary of Cecil County Maryland, Inc. Such of the grounds, buildings
and personal property of a certain property commonly known as Ogle
Hall, situate at the corner of College Avenue and King George Street,
Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, as are owned by the United States
