POWER TO DESIGNATE AND MARK CHANNELS IN THE
NON-TIDAL WATERS OF MARYLAND.
12.
The Department of Tidewater Fisheries is charged with the duty
primarily of enforcing the provisions of this Article and any other
laws applicable to boats using the waters of Maryland [. ], and all
enforcement officers in the exercise thereof shall have the authority
to stop, board, inspect any vessel. Other duties shall comprise the
clearing of waterways of logs, debris, and other material detrimental
to navigation; and cooperation with federal, state or local agencies
which make funds available for the purposes of this Article.
13.
Any person who violates any provision of this article or of the
regulations established under this article shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor and shall be subject to a fine of not more than two hundred
dollars ($200. 00).
SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT IF ANY
PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE OR THE APPLICATION
THEREOF TO ANY PERSON OR CIRCUMSTANCE IS HELD
INVALID FOR ANY REASON, SUCH INVALIDITY SHALL NOT
AFFECT THE OTHER PROVISIONS OR ANY OTHER APPLI-
CATION OF THIS ARTICLE WHICH CAN BE GIVEN EFFECT
WITHOUT THE INVALID PROVISION OR APPLICATION, AND
TO THIS END, PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE ARE DE-
CLARED TO BE SEVERABLE.
SEC. 3r 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1962.

(Senate Bill 66)
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 848, Laws of Maryland, 1961, relat-
ing to health standards of ice milk and to its possession and sale
and relating generally to frozen dairy foods, ices and mixes, and
further to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Chapter 659,
Laws of Maryland, 1961, Section 192 (h), relating to the health
standards of ice cream, quiescently frozen confections, quiescently
frozen dairy confections and ice milk and their manufacture, pos-
session and sale and relating generally to frozen dairy foods, ices
and mixes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
