It shall be unlawful for any person to have soft shell clams in his
possession which contain more than five percent (5%) per bushel of
such clams measuring less than two (2) inches measured along the
longest dimension across the shell. The provisions of this section are
applicable to all of the tidal waters of this State, notwithstanding
any provisions to the contrary of the soft shell clam laws applicable
to individual counties.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1962.
