Southern Regional Detention Center, to the care and custody of
certain children therein, and to payments and tax levies by the
several Counties and Baltimore City for such care.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

I have today vetoed House Bill No. 107 and in accordance with an
established policy outlined in a previous letter to your Body, I am
returning the same to you, along with a copy of my veto message.

House Bill No. 107 pertains to the Southern Regional Detention
Center, and is a duplication of Senate Bill No. 72, which has already
received my signature.

Since affirmative action by me on this Bill is now unnecessary, I
am vetoing the same and returning it to you.

House Bill No. 126—Assets of Insurance Companies

AN ACT to add a new Section 57 A to Article 48A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Insurance", to follow im-
mediately after Section 57 thereof, and to be under the sub-title
"Electronic machines included as admitted assets", relating to the
inclusion of certain electronic and mechanical data processing and
accounting machines as admitted assets in the determination of
financial condition of an insurance company, and relating generally
to insurance and to investments and examinations of insurance
companies in this State.
