delegate to one or more persons the duty of attending on his
behalf that much of the hearing which concerns the establishment
of facts.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That a new Section 55A be and it is hereby added to Article 41 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Governor—
Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-title "Governor",
said new section to follow immediately after Section 55 thereof,
and to read as follows:

55A. In a complaint arising under Sections 54 and 55, the Governor
may delegate to one or more persons the duty of attending, on his
behalf, that much of the hearing which concerns the establishment
of facts.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1962.

CHAPTER 102
(House Bill 129)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 181B
of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1961 Supple-
ment), title "Governor—Executive and Administrative Depart-
ment", sub-title "Maryland Historical Trust", providing generally
that the Maryland Historical Trust shall be a body corporate, and
matters incident thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That Section 181B of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1961 Supplement), title "Governor—Executive and Adminis-
trative Department", sub-title "Maryland Historical Trust", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

181B.

The purpose of the Maryland Historical Trust is declared to be
of general benefit to the citizens of the State of Maryland and
charitable in nature. The Trust shall be a body corporate and shall
have perpetual existence, subject to modification by the General
Assembly of the State of Maryland if the same is necessary to
effectuate the purpose of the Trust and subject to termination by
the General Assembly when and if its substantial purpose ceases.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1962.
