INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS

House Resolution No. 9—By Mr. Brooks:

House Resolution expressing best wishes to Herb Armstrong for a
speedy recovery from his illness.

We are informed that Herb Armstrong, Business Manager of the
Baltimore Orioles, has been hospitalized recently for an operation.

We are sorry to learn of his illness and send him our best wishes
in the hope that it will speed his recovery so that he will soon be able
to return to his regular duties with the Orioles; now, therefore be it

Resolved by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That we express
pur best wishes to Herb Armstrong for a speedy recovery from his
illness; and be it further

Resolved, That a copy of this Resolution is sent to Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert Armstrong.

House Resolution No. 10—By Messrs. Acker, Brooks, Brown, Curran,
McNeal and O'Malley:

House Resolution expressing sincere wishes to Herbert R. O'Conor, Jr.,
for a speedy recovery from his injuries.

We are, indeed, shocked to learn of the serious injuries suffered by
Herbert R. O'Conor, Jr., a few days prior to the May 15 primary
election.

We earnestly hope that his injuries will not prove to be serious and
that our expressions of good wishes will speed his recovery, so that he
will again be able to resume his normal duties; now, therefore be it

Resolved by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That we express
our most sincere wishes to Herbert R. O'Conor, Jr., for a speedy recovery
from his injuries; and be it further

Resolved, That a copy of this Resolution be sent to Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert R. O'Conor, Jr.
