of the Board and at an annual salary of Six Hundred ($600. 00)
Dollars, payable monthly.

8-6.

The Board may appoint as its investigator a Master Electrician
licensed in and resident of Anne Arundel County; and it shall be
the function of such investigator to investigate all charges of viola-
tions of this chapter, and especially all complaints with reference to
to the pursuit of the trades of Master Electrician and Restricted
Electrician by unlicensed persons. Out of the funds available in its
hands the Board shall pay such investigator reasonable compensation.

The Board shall meet at least once during each calendar month,
and shall hold additional special meetings as frequently as the proper
and efficient discharge of its business may require. All meetings of
the Board, whether regular or special, shall be called by the President
and timely notice thereof given to the other members. In the event
of the absence or incapacity of the President, regular or special
meetings may be called by the Secretary. Al any meeting or hearing
conducted by the Board the presence of two members shall constitute
a quorum.

8-8.

The written text of all rules and regulations adopted by the Board
in the pursuit of its functions as defined in Section 8-2, supra, shall be
promulgated by the 'mailing of copies thereof to each and every
Master Electrician and Restricted Electrician licensed in Anne
Arundel County, and such rules and regulations shall become effective
twenty (20) days after their mailing.

8-9.

The National Electricial Code as it is now written and as it may
from time to time be amended is hereby adopted as the electrical code
for Anne Arundel County, and each and every provision thereof
shall constitute a rule and regulation of the Board.

8-10.

There shall be two classes of tradesmen's licenses, designated as
that of Master Electrician and Restricted Electrician, and defined as
follows:

(a) The designation "Master Electrician" shall include all persons,
firms, and corporations who or which, by reason of practical ex-
perience and a reasonable knowledge of the natural laws of electricity
and the functions of electrical conductors, appliances and devices, are
qualified to engage in the trade or business of installing, erecting or
repairing any and all manner, type or description of electrical con-
ductors, appliances or devices for the utilization of electric current in
the production of light, heat or power.

(b) The designation ^Restricted Electrician" shall include all per-
sons, firms or corporations who or which are qualified only to repair
or to provide maintenance service to the electrical components of spe-
cific devices which utilize electrical current for their operation. On
