Session and expiring at the time of the taking effect of Chapter 616 of
the Acts of the Regular Session of 1961 or upon the rejection of said
Chapter 616 at a referendum election under Article XVI of the Con-
stitution of this State. "

Senate Bill No. 6—By the President:
A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 113 (d), 124 and 127 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Ed. ), title 'Courts', sub-title 'Municipal Court of Balti-
more City', as the same were enacted by Chapter 616 of the Acts of the
Regular Session of 1961, relating generally to the place of confinement
for various terms of sentences by said Municipal Court, deleting the pro-
vision for a session of the Court, except the Housing Part and the
Traffic Division, each day of the week in each Police District, relating
generally to the payment of expenses of said Municipal Court and the
Municipal Court Special Fund, and providing that this Act shall be an
emergency measure, conditioned upon the taking effect of the aforesaid
Chapter 616. "

Section 324 (f) and Section 326 (e) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1960 Supplement), as amended by Chapter 655 of the
Acts of 1961, title 'Revenue and Taxes', sub-title 'Retail Sales Tax Act',
amending the Retail Sales Tax Act in order to exempt certain sales by
grocery stores and sales of certain ice-cream products from the retail
sales tax and refining the term 'grocery store' for the purposes of this
sub-title. "

A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 303A, 303B and 303C of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title 'Dorchester County', sub-title
'Fire Departments', as said sections were last amended by Chapter 31
of the Acts of 1959, providing for an appropriation by the County Com-
missioners of Dorchester County to Taylor's Island Volunteer Fire Com-
pany, Inc., and amending the law also as to the total appropriations made
to volunteer fire companies by the County Commissioners of Dorchester
County. "
