SPECIAL SESSION

Annapolis, Maryland, June 9, 1961.
STATE OF MARYLAND TO WIT:

This being the day prescribed by the Proclamation of the Governor
of Maryland, for the meeting of the General Assembly of Maryland in
Special Session, at 11 o'clock A. M., the Secretary of the Senate proceeded
to call the Roll, and the following Senators answered to their names:

Twenty-eight Senators having answered to their names, a quorum
being present, the Senate of Maryland 1961 Special Session, is now ready
for business.

The first order of business will be the election of a temporary
presiding officer.
