(House Bill 513)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8 of
Article 66 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Mortgages", sub-title "In General", relating to payment of
interest on mortgage where property is sold under jurisdiction
of circuit court in Charles County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 8 of Article 66 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Mortgages", sub-title "In General", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
8. In all cases of sales of real estate under the authority or juris-
diction of the circuit courts in Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's, Talbot,
[and] Caroline and Charles Counties where the sale proceeds are
subject to the payment of a mortgage on such real estate, the interest
provided in such mortgage shall be payable for a period of sixty days
following the date of sale or until the audit of such sale be ratified,
whichever shall first occur.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to add new Section 514A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Garrett County (1957 Edition, being Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Garrett County", sub-
title "Taxes", AND TO ADD NEW SECTION 152A TO ARTICLE
15 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND
(1930 EDITION), TITLE "KENT COUNTY", SUBTITLE
"COUNTY TREASURER" TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY
AFTER SECTION 152 THEREOF"; relating to notice to the
Supervisor of Assessments of Garrett County AND KENT
COUNTIES in cases of construction of new buildings.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 514A be and the same is hereby added to the Code
of Public Local Laws of Garrett County (1957 Edition, being Article
12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Garrett
County", sub-title "Taxes", to read as follows:
