Court", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

124.

[The regular law term of the Circuit Court for Washington County
shall commence on the "second Monday of February", the "second
Monday of May" and the "second Monday in November" in each and
every year; and to each of said terms "juries" shall be summoned and
returned in the mode and manner prescribed by law. There shall also
be a term of said court beginning on the "first Monday of August"
of each year, to which no jurors shall be summoned, but to which
process shall be returnable for the entering of judgments in un-
contested cases, the transaction of any business not requiring the
presence of a jury, and] The term or terms of the Circuit Court for
Washington County shall be established by rule of the Circuit Court,
and the Court shall in its discretion summon juries to any term or
terms that it shall deem necessary in the mode and manner prescribed
by law.
[in] In the trial of any case in said court, or either the law
or equity side thereof, the judges or judge presiding shall have the
power and authority to employ a stenographer or shorthand reporter
to take down the proceedings, including the testimony and opinion
of the court, and the County Commissioners shall levy such com-
pensation for the services of such stenographer or shorthand reporter
as the judge thereof shall approve of.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 611
(House Bill 383)

AN ACT to repeal Section 121 of Article 48A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title "Agents
and Brokers", and to enact a new Section 121 in lieu thereof, to
stand in the place and stead of the section so repealed, relating
to qualifications for fire and casualty insurance agents, solicitors,
brokers, and brokers' solicitors in this state.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 121 of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title "Agents and Brokers",
be and it is hereby repealed, and that a new Section 121 be and it is
enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place and stead of the section
so repealed, and to read as follows:

121. Qualification of Fire and Casualty Agents, Solicitors, and
of Brokers and Brokers' Solicitors.
