Washington County (1957 Edition, being Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), be and the same are hereby
repealed and a new Section 689 enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in
the place and stead of the sections so repealed, to read as follows:
689. The annual County tax rate for any and all HOUSE trailers
USED AS RESIDENCES owned and OR maintained in Washington
County shall be two dollars per month. ALL OTHER HOUSE
TRAILERS SHALL PAY A COUNTY TAX OF ONE DOLLAR
PER MONTH. This tax may be paid by the month or by the year
in advance. If the tax is paid by the year in advance, refunds shall
be made only in increments of a six-month period.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 557
(Senate Bill 490)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 692 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Washington County (1957
Edition, being Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), requiring any person or private organization to report
certain UNLICENSED HOUSE trailers to the County Tax Col-
lector in Washington County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 692 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Washington
County (1957 Edition, being Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
692.
The operator of any trailer park or his agent or any person or
private organization must report to the County Tax Collector within
ten days after its arrival into the trailer park, any HOUSE trailer
not bearing Washington County trailer tax tags.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.
