112A. (a) An arrival tax of Ten Dollars ($10.00) is hereby levied
upon each House Trailer designed for habitation and parked in
Allegany County for a period exceeding thirty (SO) days. The owner
or lessee of every such trailer must within ten (10) days after the
initial thirty day period register with the supervisor of assessments
for Allegany County and pay said tax to the County Tax Collector
and obtain an assessment permit. Such assessment permit shall be
in the form of an assessment plate which shall be attached to the
house trailer in a prominent place as evidence that said arrival tax
has been paid, and that said property has been duly placed upon the
Allegany County tax rolls for assessment purposes. The Tax Col-
lector shall turn over said taxes so collected to the County Com-
missioners monthly and said funds shall constitute part of the
general funds of the county. If a trailer is assessed for property
taxes in Allegany County upon the effective date of this Act said
trailer shall be exempt from said arrival tax. Provided further, that
any person paying said tax shall be entitled to a credit to the amount
of said tax upon Allegany County real and personal property taxes
levied against said trailer for the year in which said arrival tax is
paid.

(b). The owner of any trailer park, or his agent, must report to
the supervisor of assessments of Allegany County within ten (10)
days after its arrival into the trailer park any trailer not bearing
the Allegany County assessment plate. Any person, firm or corpora-
tion failing to comply with the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction therefor, shall be fined
not more than Fifty Dollars ($50.).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(House Bill 822)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 104 of
Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-
title "State Manual", amending the laws concerning the compila-
tion, editing and printing of the State Manual.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 104 of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Governor—Executive and Administrative De-
partments", sub-title "State Manual", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
