sold by any licensee or any agent, servant or employee of said licensee
between the hours of 12 midnight and 6 o'clock A. M. But this
section shall not prevent the sale of any wine or [,] beer [or other
spirituous, or fermented beverages] containing less than 20% alcohol
by volume on any day including Sunday, or at any time except between
the hours of 12 midnight and 6 o'clock A. M. The barroom where
alcoholic beverages are sold or displayed shall be closed at midnight,
and all bottles and containers used in dispensing alcoholic beverages
must be removed from the tables on or before 1.00 A. M. Any person
violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon trial and conviction shall be subjected
to a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than two
hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00), or may be confined in the county
jail or in the house of correction for not less than sixty days, or both,
in the discretion of the court.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(House Bill 500)
AN ACT to add an additional area to the Washington Suburban
Sanitary District.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Area herein described is hereby added to the Washington
Suburban Sanitary District created by Chapter 122 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 1918:
All that area in Montgomery County described as follows:
All that area in the Bethesda and Potomac Election Districts
within the following described boundaries:
Beginning for the same at a point on the existing boundary of
the Washington Suburban Sanitary District, said point being on
the outline of the lands of Frances A. Hufty as recorded among the
Land Records of Montgomery County, Maryland, in Liber 727 at
Folio 197 and 300 feet south of, at right angles to the south side
of River Road, and running thence in a generally westerly direction,
south of, parallel to, and 300 feet distant from the south side of
River Road to a point 300 feet south of, at right angles to said
River Road where the same is intersected by Cabin John Creek,
thence in a generally northerly direction at right angles to River
Road, to Cabin John Creek, thence in a generally northerly direction
