1946, recorded among the Land Records of said Wicomico County,
Maryland, in Liber J.W.T.S. No. 277, Folios 252 and 253, except so
much of the above described land as was conveyed by County Commis-
sioners of Wicomico County, et al, to the City of Salisbury by deed
dated February 23, 1956, and recorded among the aforesaid Land
Records in Liber J.W.T.S. No. 405, Folio 196, and being in all respects
all of the land conveyed to said County Commissioners of Wicomico
County by S. Franklyn Woodcock and wife by deed dated March 5,
1946, and recorded as aforesaid in Liber J.W.T.S. No. 277, Folio 248,
except the part thereof conveyed to the City of Salisbury as aforesaid.
Item Second: All that piece or parcel of land situate and lying
in the District, County and State aforesaid, and more particularly
described as follows: Beginning for the same on the Southerly side
of Glen Avenue at a cement post set in the ground, it being the North-
west corner of the land hereby conveyed, and the Northeast corner
of the land described in Item First above; (1) thence South 00 de-
grees 07 minutes East binding along the land above described a dis-
tance of 720 feet to a cement post on the line of the land of Ezra F.
Hearn; (2) thence North 19 degrees 59 minutes East by and with said
Hearn land a distance of 675.9 feet to the Southerly side of Glen Ave-
nue at a cement post; (3) thence North 70 degrees 01 minute West
by and with the Southerly side of Glen Avenue a distance of 250 feet
to the place of beginning, and being in all respects the same land that
was conveyed unto said County Commissioners of Wicomico County
by Thomas A. Hearn and wife by deed dated May 31, 1956, and re-
corded among the aforesaid Land Records in Liber J.W.T.S. No. 278,
Folio 584.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.
SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS ACT
IS HEREBY DECLARED TO BE AN EMERGENCY LAW AND
NECESSARY FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESERVATION OF THE
PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY, AND HAVING BEEN PASS-
ED BY A YEA AND NAY VOTE, SUPPORTED BY THREE-
FIFTHS OF ALL OF THE MEMBERS ELECTED TO EACH OF
THE TWO HOUSES OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, THE
SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF ITS PAS-
SAGE.
