the sum of two dollars ($2.00) for each independent coin operated
speaker delivering music on the same premises. Each machine or
device licensed must have affixed to it a metal tag issued by said
Board, showing that the fee for the current year has been paid. All
licenses shall expire on the 31st day of May of each year, shall not
be transferable and shall not be prorated. Any person, firm or cor-
poration keeping, maintaining or operating any such machine or de-
vice without such license shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof, shall be fined a sum not to exceed three hundred
dollars ($300.00). All license fees collected hereunder shall be
credited to the general funds of Worcester County.

The County Commissioners of Worcester County are hereby au-
thorized to provide for the licensing of each person, firm or cor-
poration selling or offering for sale through or by means of coin
operated vending machines any article or goods of
merchandise; to
establish the license fees and to prescribe regulations for the issu-
ance of said licenses. Said Commissioners are further authorized to
provide a metal tag or stamp to be applied to such vending ma-
chines upon the payment of the license fees and to prescribe criminal
penalties for any person, firm or corporation maintaining or oper-
ating such vending machines without a license. All license fees col-
lected under any regulations to be so established shall be credited to
the general funds of Worcester County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 400
(Senate Bill 391)

AN ACT to add new Section 39B to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1958 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Local Licenses and License Pro-
visions", to follow immediately after Section 39A thereof, relating
to the beer and wine license fees for Worcester County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 39B be and the same is hereby added to Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1958 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Local Licenses and
License Provisions", to follow immediately after Section 39A thereof,
and to read as follows:

39B. The. Board of Liquor License Commissioners of Worcester
County
, NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF
