Court shall not accept for record any deeds for the transfer thereof,
until the provisions of this section shall have been strictly complied
with.

(c)  The owner of any lot or land in a platted subdivision shall
secure from the Board of County Commissioners, a permit for the
erection thereon of any building or structure at a fee of one dollar
($1.00), payable to the County Commissioners. A permit must be
secured in the same manner for the placing of any building or struc-
ture, including house trailers, on a lot in any platted subdivision.

(d)  Any person, firm, or corporation subdividing land and violat-
ing any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, and upon conviction thereof before a Justice of the Peace
or the Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County shall be fined not less
than twenty-five dollars or more than one hundred dollars, in the
discretion of the said Justice of the Peace, or the Judge of the said
Court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 399
(Senate Bill 379)

AN ACT to add new Sections 104A and 104B to Article 24 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Worcester County", sub-title "Licenses" to follow immediately
after Section 104 thereof relating to the licensing and regulation
of music boxes, gramaphones, GRAPHOPHONES, vending ma-
chines and similar devices and relating generally to licensing in
Worcester County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 104A and 104B be and they are hereby added to
Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion) title "Worcester County", sub-title "Licenses", to follow im-
mediately after Section 104 thereof and to read as follows:

104A.

Every person, firm or corporation keeping, maintaining or op-
erating for public entertainment in Worcester County any music
box, mechanical player piano, graphophone, or other similar mechan-
ical musical device played by the insertion of a coin or token, shall
obtain an annual county license therefor from the Board of County
Commissioners of Worcester County, and shall pay therefor the sum
of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each such machine or device, and
