are to be located. The failure of any such person or corporation to
procure said license, or to comply with [said] regulations issued by
the State Comptroller, shall be a misdeameanor, and upon convic-
tion such person or corporation shall be fined one hundred dollars.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
May 1, 1960.

CHAPTER 352
(House Bill 452)

AN ACT to add new Section 57(e) to Article 66˝ of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title
"Administration—Registration—Titling", to follow immediately
after Section 57(d) thereof, providing that members of the United
States Congress (EXCEPT MEMBERS ELECTED FROM THE
STATE OF MARYLAND) are exempt from Maryland registra-
tion during their terms of office.

Section. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 57(e) be and the same is hereby added to Article
66˝ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-title "Administration—Registration—Titling" to fol-
low immediately after Section 57(d) thereof, and to read as follows:

57.

(e) Any members of the United States Congress (EXCEPT
MEMBERS ELECTED FROM THE STATE OF MARYLAND)
who shall make this State his residence during his term of office in
the United States Congress shall be exempt from obtaining Maryland
license plates and registration during that time.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(House Bill 456)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 54 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1955 Edition,
being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
