CHAPTER 265
(House Bill 476)

AN ACT to add new Section 221DA to Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "Dogs", to follow immediately after Section 221D
thereof, as added by Chapter 136 of 1957, to prohibit vicious
dogs from running at large in Queen Anne's County and specifying
the penalty for violations.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 221DA be and it is hereby added to Article 18 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County", sub-title "Dogs", to follow immediately after
Section 221D thereof, as added by Chapter 136 of 1957, and to read
as follows:

221DA. It shall be unlawful for any person in Queen Anne's County
to allow any dog with known and vicious tendencies to run at large.
Violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of not to exceed
fifty dollars ($50.00).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

Approved March 24, 1959.
