struction Bond, Second Issue", changing from December first to
April first, the date the Counties may notify the State Roads Com-
mission of its desire to participate in certain bond issues.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That sub-section (a) of Section 211 of Article 89B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "State Roads", sub-title
"State Highway Construction Bond, Second Issue", be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as
follows :
211.
(a) Any such county, not later than [December] April first of
each year, may notify the Commission of its desire to participate in
the proceeds of a series of bonds to be issued under this section in
the next succeeding fiscal year and the amount of such participation
proposed;
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section (f)
of Section 32 of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "State Roads", sub-title "Distribution and
Use of Special Funds", increasing from four million dollars
($4,000,000) to five million dollars ($5,000,000) the amount of
money that may be transferred by the State Roads Commission
from the Construction Fund to the Motor Vehicle Revenue Fund.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (f) of Section 32 of Article 89B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "State Roads", sub-title "Dis-
tribution and Use of Special Funds", be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

(f) In case of an emergency whereby the Motor Vehicle Revenue
Fund created by Section 303 of Article 66½ is insufficient to main-
tain properly the State highway system, the State Roads Commission,
with the consent of the Governor and under the provisions of Section
