CHAPTER 231
(House Bill 209)
AN ACT to add a new Section 32A to Article 26 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), as amended, title "Courts", sub-
title "Circuit Courts for the Counties—Court Stenographers",
said new Section to follow immediately after Section 32 thereof,
making provision for an additional judge for the Sixth Judicial
Circuit, providing that said Judge shall be resident in Montgomery
County, and relating generally thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
that new Section 32A, be and it is hereby added to Article 26 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), as amended, title
"Courts", sub-title "Circuit Courts for the Counties—Court Stenog-
raphers", said new Section to follow immediately after Section 32
thereof, and to read as follows:
32A. Additional judge for the sixth judicial circuit.
In addition to the four judges for the sixth judicial circuit for
which provision is made by Section 21 of Article 4 of the Constitution
of Maryland, there shall be an additional judge who shall be a resi-
dent of Montgomery County. Said judge shall be selected in the
manner provided by Section 5 of Article 4 of the Constitution of
Maryland and shall be subject to all of the provisions of the Consti-
tution and laws relating to the sixth judicial circuit and the several
judges thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(House Bill 210)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 508 of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Gaming", providing
that it shall be lawful for any bowling alley, tenpin alley, duckpin
alley or ice or roller skating rink in Montgomery County to
operate during certain hours on Sunday.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
