[(18)] (12) For recording judgments rendered by Justices of
the Peace or Judges of the Peoples' Court [of Baltimore City,

$.50], $1.50;

[(19)] (13) For making a certified copy of any paper recorded
among the Land or Chattel records—the cost of said copy shall not
exceed the cost of the recording of the original paper, plus $.75 for
certification;

[(20)] (14) For making one or more duplicate copy or copies—
the cost of said duplicate copy or copies shall not exceed [more
than] one-half of the cost of the original papers, plus $.75 for certi-
fication;

[(21)] (15) For filing any conditional contract of sale, [$1.00]
$1.50, and $1.50 for assignments thereof;

[(22)] (16) For indexing among Land Records and general
alphabetical index any conditional contract of sale of any item which
is or is to be affixed to real property, [$.25] $.50 for each name
indexed; [.]

[(23)] (17) For recording any [paper] instrument among
the Chattel records—[for each one hundred words or figures or
fraction thereof, $.20] $2.00 per page or portion thereof for record-
ing with a minimum charge of $3.00 for any instrument. In addition
thereto the Clerk shall charge the sum of $.50 per name for each
name to be indexed on said instrument, the names of husband and
wife to be counted separately;

[elected or] appointed official (except policeman), [$.25] $.50;
