1512                                      Vetoes

House Bill 896 is a local Bill dealing entirely with Baltimore County.
The Bill is designed to change the manner of appointing the Chief
Clerk, the Constable and other personnel connected with the Peoples
Court of Baltimore County.

I have recently received communications from the Baltimore County
delegation in the House of Delegates and from the Baltimore County
State Senator requesting me to veto this Bill.

Based upon the request of all of the Baltimore County representa-
tives of the General Assembly, I am vetoing this measure and re-
turning the same to you herewith.
