section, to take or catch or attempt to take or catch soft shell clams

with a hydraulic or mechanical dredge or with any other type of gear.

(i) In the Queen Anne's County waters of Eastern Bay and its

tributaries.

(ii) Shipping Creek.

(iii) Cox's Creek.

(iv) Crab Alley Bay.

(v) Wye River and Wye Narrows, up to a line drawn between the
southernmost tip of Ferry Point and the northernmost tip of Drum

Point, until a re-survey of the Wye River and East Wye shall be

completed designating commercially productive oyster areas therein,

and the charts thereof amended, but not thereafter.

(vi) In Queen Anne's County waters of the East Wye River

also known as Back Wye), up to a line drawn between the southern-
most tip of Wye Island (known as Bordley Point) and the northern-

most tip of Bruff's Island.

(vii) In Kent Narrows and the entrance thereto between the shore

line and a line drawn from the northernmost tip of Ferry Point to
the northernmost tip of Long Point in the Chester River.

(2) It shall be lawful to take, catch, or attempt to take or catch

soft shell clams.

(i) In the Queen Anne's County waters of the Chesapeake Bay,
without restriction or limitation as to the area where soft shell clam
dredging may be carried on or conducted, anything to the
contrary
in this sub title notwithstanding.

(ii) In the Wye River and Wye Narrows above or upriver from a
line drawn between the southernmost tip of Ferry Point and the

northernmost tip of Drum Point, without restriction or limitation

arising from a designation of oyster bars or natural oyster bars on
the charts of the Commission of Tidewater Fisheries, except in any

commercially productive oyster area as defined herein.

(iii) In the Queen Anne's County waters of the East Wye River

(also known as Back Wye), above or upriver from a line drawn be-

tween the southernmost tip of Wye Island (known as Bordley's.

Point), and the northernmost tip of Bruff's Island, without restriction
or limitation arising from a designation of oyster bars or natural
oyster bars on the charts of the Commission of Tidewater Fisheries,

except in any commercially productive oyster area as defined herein.

(v) Special Provisions as to Talbot County.It shall be unlawful
to take or catch; or attempt to take or catch, soft shell clams with a
hydraulic or mechanical dredge or with any other type of gear in
front of the town of Oxford between the high water mark and the
center of the Channel of the Tred Avon River and Town Creek except
during the months of October and November.
IT SHALL BE LAW-
FUL TO TAKE OR CATCH, OR ATTEMPT TO TAKE OR CATCH,
SOFT SHELL CLAMS IN THE SHOAL WATERS OF THE
CHESAPEAKE BAY BORDERING OR ADJACENT TO TALBOT
COUNTY; PROVIDED THAT THE TAKING OF SAID SOFT
SHELL CLAMS IN SUCH WATERS SHALL BE GOVERNED
