J. MILLARD TAWES, GOVERNOR                             1411

(a)   $13,000.00 shall be paid to the following fire companies as
follows:

$4,000.00 to the La Plata Fire Dept.
$1,500.00 to the Hughesville Fire Dept.
$1,500.00 to the Waldorf Fire Dept.
$1,500.00 to the Nanjemoy Fire Dept.
$1,500.00 to the Indian Head Fire Dept.
$1,500.00 to the Potomac Heights Fire Dept.
$1,500.00 to the Fifth District Fire Dept.

(b)  $1,000.00 shall be paid to the Children's Aid Society for use
in its work in Charles County.

(c)  $8,500.00 shall be placed in a "Charles County Library Fund"
and used to equal any State Funds which may be available for the
establishment and maintenance of free libraries in Charles County.

(d)  $8,000.00 shall be applied to a "Physician's Memorial Hos-
pital Fund" and distributed to said Hospital from time to time as
deemed necessary by the County Commissioners and based on the
needs of said Hospital.]

(3) After payment of the above amounts, all additional funds re-
ceived shall be applied by the County Commissioners to the reduction

of the Charles County real estate tax, and to the reduction of any

outstanding school bonds and interest thereon in such proportions as
the County Commissioners in their discretion shall determine.

The County Commissioners shall appoint the aforementioned [a]
License Inspector who shall serve at the pleasure of said County
Commissioners, and shall perform such duties as the County Com-
missioners require in connection with the enforcement and adminis-
tration of the provisions of [Sections 84C-84G of] this sub-title. It
shall be the duty of the Inspector to make such investigations and
conduct such examinations of the records of licensees as will satisfy
him that the provisions of [Sections 84C-84G] this sub-title are being
fully complied with by said licensees.

Said Inspector shall have the right at any time, to inspect any
machine internally or externally licensed under this sub-title, or the
premises where such machines are operated or stored. He shall have
the right to seize any machine or other evidence of violation of any
provision of this sub-title and to hold the same as evidence pending
trial of the Licensee.

84G. (a) No machine licensed under the provisions of this sub-
title shall be tampered with in any manner which will affect the
normal pay-off operation of the machine. The use of weights, balances
or any other device, mechanical or electrical, designed to affect the
odds of the play, shall be considered as tampering "or bugging" under
this sub-title.

(b)  No licensee shall offer rewards of any kinds, cash or merchan-
dise, as inducement to play the machine, in addition to the normal
cash pay-off
AND GUARANTEED PAY-OFF DESIGNATED ON
THE MACHINE.

(c)  No licensee, his agent or employee, shall advertise, directly or
indirectly, the operation of machines under the provisions of this
sub-title.
