ONE HUNDRED MACHINES OR DEVICES ON THE PREMISES,
THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE SHALL BE $1,000. IF THERE
ARE MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED AND NOT MORE THAN
ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY MACHINES AND DEVICES ON
THE PREMISES, THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE SHALL BE
$1,500. IF THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED AND
FIFTY AND NOT MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED MACHINES
AND DEVICES ON THE PREMISES, THE ANNUAL LICENSE
FEE SHALL BE $2,000. IF THERE ARE MORE THAN TWO
HUNDRED SUCH MACHINES AND DEVICES ON THE PREM-
ISES, THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE SHALL BE $2,500. ANY
ARCADE HAVING ON THE PREMISES ANY OF THE MA-
CHINES OR DEVICES LISTED IN SUB-SECTION (A) OF THIS
SECTION SHALL PAY A LICENSE FEE OF NOT LESS THAN
$25 FOR EACH SUCH MACHINE OR DEVICE, IN ADDITION
TO THE ARCADE FEE PROVIDED IN THIS SUB-SECTION.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(Senate Bill 459)

AN ACT to add a new Section 41(b-l) to Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Bever-
ages", sub-title "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses", to
follow immediately after Section 41 (b) thereof, providing that
more than one license for the sale of certain alcoholic beverages
may be issued under the provisions of Sections 11 or 16 of said
Article 2B to the same person or for the use of the same partner-
ship, corporation, or unincorporated association for premises op-
erated as a bowling establishment under certain conditions.; EX-
CEPTING PRINCE GEORGE'S, WORCESTER, HOWARD, BAL-
TIMORE AND CARROLL COUNTIES THEREFROM.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 41(b-l) be and the same is hereby added to Ar-
ticle 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title
"Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "General Provisions on Issue of Li-
censes", to follow immediately after Section 41(b) thereof, and to
read as follows:

41.

(b-1). Exception as to bowling alleys.

The provisions of sub-section (a) of this section shall not apply to
licenses issued under Sections 11 or 16 of this Article for premises
