Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 35 of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1957 Edition, as amended), title "State Roads", sub-title "Distri-
bution and Use of Special Funds", sub-title "Same—Montgomery
County", is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 119
(Senate Bill 126)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 159 (g),
159(h) (2), 163(i) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "County
Liquor Control Boards and Dispensaries", relating to Harford
County only, repealing provision for election of secretary-treasurer;
selection of chairman of Board by County Commissioners by first
Monday in April of each year; increase in compensation for Board
members with no additional compensation for administrative
services; appointment, duties and tenure in office of general man-
ager for the said Harford County Liquor Control Board; salaries
of employees of said Board; adequacy of bonds required for em-
ployees of said Board; and other matters generally related to the
above-recited matter.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 159(g), 159(h) (2), 163 (i) of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic
Beverages", sub-title "County Liquor Control Boards and Dispen-
saries", be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
159.
(g) The Board in each county shall organize by electing its own
chairman. [In Harford County the boards shall also elect a secretary-
treasurer.] In Harford County the County Commissioners shall select
the chairman of the liquor control board by the first Monday in April
of each year.
(h) (2) Harford County—[Nine hundred dollars per annum, one-
half of said salaries to be paid from the gross proceeds derived from
the operation of county dispensaries.] Twelve hundred dollars per
annum , provided that no additional compensation shall be paid board
members for administrative services.
