CHAPTER 787
(House Bill 531)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9(31) of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "What Shall Be Taxed and
Where", as amended by Chapter 38 of the Acts of 1959, relating
to a tax exemption for the Society for the Preservation of Mary-
land Antiquities, Inc., CHESTER COUNTY COUNCIL BOY
SCOUTS OF AMERICA, AND FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
OF CECIL COUNTY MARYLAND, INC., in Cecil County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 9(31) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "What Shall
Be Taxed and Where", as amended by Chapter 38 of the Acts of
1959, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

(31) Property, real and personal, owned by the Historical Society
of Frederick County, Inc., the Montgomery County Historical Society,
Inc., [and] the Historical Society of Talbot County, Maryland, Inc.;
and any property in Cecil County owned by the Society for the Preser-
vation of Maryland Antiquities, Inc., CHESTER COUNTY COUN-
CIL BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA, AND FRIENDS OF THE
LIBRARY OF CECIL COUNTY MARYLAND, INC.
Sec. 2. Be it further enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That payment of any taxes delinquent as of the effective date of this
Act and owned by the Society for the Preservation of Maryland
Antiquities, Inc., in Cecil County, to the State of Maryland or any
of the political subdivisions is waived and the said taxes are abated.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 788
(House Bill 534)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 42, 43, 44 and 45 of Article 21 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Talbot County", sub-title "Camp Meetings", and to enact in lieu
thereof new Section 43 to stand in the place and stead of the
sections so repealed; to repeal Sections 46, 47 and 48 of said
